The case for Punch and Judy
David Cameron, new Tory leader, says he wants an end to 'Punch and Judy' politics. But the problem is not too much 'Punch and Judy' politics in Britain, but not enough. On the biggest issues of the day, both H.M. Government and H.M. Opposition are singing from the same hymn sheet. Both are enthusiastic supporters of the global capitalist system, which puts a price tag on every human value. And both are enthusiastic supporters of the policy of perpetual war-and the use of B52s to make the world safe for western multinationals. This is the reality of 'democracy' in the New World Order- you can have any government or opposition you like, so long as it's neo-liberal and likes cluster bombs.

Neil - what's your take on the John Birch Society?
Hi Steve,
I disagree with JB Society's view that that civilisation stems from the institution of private property and also their virulent anti-communism-but despite this, I think they can be allies in the fight against the tyranny of the NWO. They want America to be a capitalist country of minimal government - but they don't claim the authority to impose this model on other countries and should be respected for this. They have opposed globalisation, war and U.S. military aggression. For me, The Henry Jackson Society is the enemy and not sovereigntist groups like the JB. What's your take?
Given that I write blog-posts at www.libertarian.org.au, you may infer that I'm a big fan of the John Birch Society, antiwar.com, lewrockwell.com, etc.
I must say, it's refreshing to see a Left-wing blog that is prepared to come out and unequivocally oppose the emerging global dictatorship, rather than just a few visible parts of it. The majority of Leftist blogs only criticise the "bad cop" (the Pentagon) of the New World Order, while seeking to empower the "good cop" (the UN).
Of course, both the "good cop" and the "bad cop" are two sides of a bipartisan control valve, and, frankly, now that President Bush has endorsed a UN rapid response force, the line between "good" and "bad" is pretty blurred.
And of course, there's the (New) Left's ridiculous obsession with multiculturalism and other policies that are quite transparently designed to destroy the independence of sovereign peoples.
As the Henry Jackson society not only endorses all the politically correct multi-culti rubbish, but the right to IMPOSE their globalist designs on anyone they choose on pain of death, it's fair to label them as the mortal enemy of all that is good and right.
Only problem is, the NWO is so vast and multi-faceted, I'm not even sure where to begin to tear it down.
And another thing - if you want a clear look at the enemy's visage, read Thomas Barnett from the US Naval War College. Particularly this article:

It's so disgusting, I can't even begin to describe what's wrong with it.
I remember reading your Guardian piece on David Cameron's lack of moderate-status back in October, but this is my first time on your blog, and I must say I like what I see.
Good stuff man, I'd imagine I'll be visiting regularly.
Hi Steve,
Thanks for the tip-offs. I certainly look them up.
