News: Soldiers are Violent

'The Iraqis have a name for what we call 'collateral damage'. Mum. Dad. Junior'.
Here's a terrific piece from today's Times from the consistently excellent Martin Samuel.
Question for the Editor of The Times: why do we only get one anti-war Martin Samuel piece for every six or seven pro-war pieces from Aaronovitch, Kamm, Pollard et al- when Samuel's line is shared by a majority of the British public- and also I'd wager, a majority of the Times' readership? If you're interested in boosting sales- shouldn't it be the other way round?,,6-2038872,00.html
