How to replace the deserters

The BBC announced today that over 1,000 soldiers have deserted from the British Army since the start of the Iraq war.

It's clear the Army needs to rethink its recruitment policy and focus on those potential soldiers who are clearly in favour of the British Army's new role of illegally invading and occupying any country the US President decides is in need of invasion and occupation. I'm sure that among the names to be found on the links below, there will be plenty of willing recruits.

Welcome back Chimpanzee-good to see your comments are as chimp-like as ever !
I don't really see the connection between the poor attendance at the Euston launch and the number of comments to this blog. Euston's launch had an enormous amount of publicity in the mainstream media and pro-war blogosphere and could still only muster 250 people. When this blog gets a weekly plug in the Observer as well as other daily newspapers- then we can compare the number of comments with the Euston launch numbers. Until then, it's a silly comparison.

What????? You dont know what my views are on the Iraq war. I'm pointing out that you say you're in favour of free speech but you don't allow comments or questions that make you look stupid.

I may have been mixing you up with another commenter, Delworth. Apologies.
While we're on Iraq though, what are your views on the invasion? I'm sure other readers would like to know....
