- I am a journalist, writer & broadcaster, based in the U.K. I am the author of 'Stranger than Fiction', a biography of Edgar Wallace, available here http://goo.gl/o2cZze , 'Champion Jump Horse Racing Jockeys 1945 to Present Day' and 'Flying Ace'. I am strongly opposed to the neo-con war agenda -and believe in the urgent necessity of a left-right anti-war coalition. On domestic issues I support re-nationalisation of the railways and public utilities (I co-founded of The Campaign for Public Ownership), free care for the elderly, a free NHS including the restoration of NHS dentistry, and protection of the Green Belt and the countryside. Even Merkel and Hollande's trip to Moscow this week is just to let the voters back at home know that they "tried" to make the peace. It is only a charade. War was decided upon in this area years ago, and war is going to happen. The genocide (the US/NATO engineered fratricide) that will happen in the Ukraine will make the Holodomor look like a holiday. All this because Russia is a decidedly nationalist country that does not want to buy into the Globalist agenda...
