Great analysis, Mr. Clark. My understanding is that Old Labour used to be very opposed to the European common market project, which makes sense from a traditional socialist standpoint. Just more reason to work for the end of the New Labour nightmare.
Hi John, Many thanks. Yes, Old Labour got it absolutely right on the EEC/EU and where it would take us-people like Peter Shore warned it was a project which favoured capital and big business and not ordinary people.
