The Blair Impeachment Project: Time for action at long last

My latest piece for RT.com

With just over six weeks to go before the long-awaited release of the Chilcot report into the Iraq War the calls for former Prime Minister Tony Blair to be properly held to account for the lies he told us in the lead up to the illegal invasion are increasing by the day.
A few days ago, the foreign affairs spokesperson for the Scottish National Party (SNP) Alex Salmond MP, told RT’s Going Underground program that he would like to see Blair impeached by the British Parliament and also stand trial at the International Criminal Court, if the families of those killed and the wider public agreed.

Other MPs have also expressed their support for Salmond’s initiative....

It's not just the findings by the chilcot enquiry it's the whole game pre Iraq... E.G. The CIA backed Bin Laden the glaring inconsistencies regarding The twin towers... The vials of God knows what displayed by Colin Powell.. The way Saddam Hussein and Gaddafi were discovered.. Both in ditches that even supported the over used soundbite "found like rats".. Bin Laden killed by seal team 6 Saddam hung by the neck and of course we have Blair and Bush with the grandesse statement of Who's...What's the common denominator?? I don't believe any of the above in the slightest barring the fact neo cons were/are complicit in all these acts...I'll be surprised if Blair gets hung out to dry but let's hope these upcoming findings do just that and leads to a greater awakening and leads to more impeachments....as usual a great piece Neil Clark even though I've ventured on a slight tangent
