Well, the draw for the FA Cup semi-finals has been made. We can't have a Cardiff v Barnsley final (wouldn't that have been fantastic?), as the two giant-killers have been drawn to play each other, but the other possible final combinations are almost as mouth-watering: Portsmouth v Barnsley, Portsmouth v Cardiff, West Brom v Cardiff or West Brom v Barnsley. For the first time since 1991 none of the Big Four will be in the final(Hooray!). And for the first time since 1975,none of the 'Big Six' (The Big Four, plus Spurs and Everton) will be there.
Whoever gets there, this year's final will have a surreal look to it. After years of the competition being dominated by the same, boring old teams, won't it be wonderful to see two different teams march out at Wembley in May?
