I think you are spot on ...Great article, Mr. Clark. I think you are spot on about the “bread on the table” issue. <br /><br />I remember back in the 1990s, during the Clinton era in the United States, when blue-collar workers continued to see their living standards eroded as NAFTA helped to ship more jobs overseas, plenty of comfortable middle-class professionals were willing to see their less-educated comrades thrown under the bus if it meant cheaper consumer goods for them.<br /><br />But now, even many professional people are feeling the sting of the bad economy, and I am now seeing more and more middle-class citizens realizing that the only way forward is through solidarity. I hope this becomes a major trend and not just my lying eyes deceiving me!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
