Till the last year smoker sections existed in pubs but from this year they are banned. Try to smoke cigarettes on –30 degrees Celsius;-). Who profits from it? The industry and pubs lose money, governments lose taxes, people lose enjoyment but may profit with some health. So, is it everything in the name of health? I doubt it. Government is no way that tough on industrial chimneys and cars that pollute incomparable more and therefore, are much unhealthier. So, why is all that? The only thing that comes to my mind belongs to the conspiracy theory. Some people may be testing their power over people. If they succeed in such an addictive field as smoking is, they could do what ever they want. They are pretty successful so far.

Aleksandar Sarovic
www.sarovic.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17766817.post-4762245647529890222007-12-06T16:42:00.000+00:002007-12-06T16:42:00.000+00:00Hi Nick,Not at all. Most people favoured the compromise which exists in most other European countries.
